How's Maddy doing ?

Madeleine was diagnosed with an abdomenal tumour on her dad's birthday, 12 May, 2005. On 31 May, this was confirmed as NHL, Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma - Large B cell diffuse. Her chemotherapy treatment started that same evening. This blog gives you the latest news on just how she's doing.

Hospital update

Regular check-ups are still really important for Maddy, although they're becoming less frequent now.
She still visits the clinic at Jimmy's every 3 months, just to make sure everything seems normal with her health - and so far that's just how it's happened.
Her last visit was earlier this month (November) and all checked out OK.
the next visit (in February '07) will include a heart scan, just to see how that's functioning approx 18 months post-chemo - no specific concerns - it's all part of the excellent service.

Hey, just wanted to leave a small comment after reading the christmas card you sent us (the Hacons). First of all, Maddy you look gorgeous! The only thing I can remember when I came up was your TV not having 'South East today' (obviously) and you putting milk in the middle of your porridge which freaked me out. I digress, excellent to hear you recieved the all clear. Have a fabulous Christmas! Love Guy (the one after Tom!) X
